The Internet giant Google has added its Google Play Web store button to the black Google navigation bar that appears on the top of all Google’s webpages. It has been introduced between the Maps and the YouTube options.

Google play

The Play option appeared today in the navigation bar with a bright red colored ‘new’ tag near to it. Google sites can now take the users directly to the Google Play home page with a single click, to buy stuff for their phone or browser. This eradicates the need for users to remember the URL of Google Play.

Google Play, which was previously known as Android Market, was relaunched by Google earlier this month. This was to promote its own content offerings such as books, music, video and Android applications to different groups of users. The users are also allowed to store digital content online.

But the Play service is not consistent in every region. In the US, Google Play offers music, movies, books and Android apps. But in Canada and the UK, it offers movies, books and Android apps while in Australia, only books and Android apps are available. In Japan, users can choose only movies and Android apps.

However, millions of users view billions of pages on a single day through Google. With the Google Play option featured in the navigation bar, there are more chances of it receiving a massive boost in the near future.
