Google Rolls out Core Search Ranking Update
It is well known that the last update Penguin 3.0 was made on October 17, 2014 and professionals expected the next update would be at the end of the year 2015. But we haven’t got any official confirmation till now.
Last week, many people observed fluctuations in search rankings and there was a rumor going around that it might be the year’s first Penguin update.
Zineb Ait Bahajji, Webmaster Trends Analyst at Google, however confirmed (in French) that it wasn’t Penguin.
Also, Gary Illyes & John Mueller from Google community later confirmed the same:
Additionally, a Google spokesperson recently confirmed that Panda is now a part of Google’s core ranking algorithm. Panda is an update that ascertains the quality of the site to determine the ranking of the site.
