Google Unveils New, More Consistent Icons for Google Play Apps
Everyone who uses Google Play Apps will enjoy the new, unified look of icons. This redesign is very elegant and visually appealing, and and helps you recognize they are all part of Google Play franchise.
Jonathan Chung, Visual Design Lead from Google Play revealed the new look for Google play icons in the Official Android Blog
“Since launching Google Play four years ago, we’ve always had dedicated apps in addition to the Google Play store. Today, all our icons are getting an update to provide a consistent look across the entire family of Play apps.”
