Steve Jobs Considered Android a ‘Grand Theft’
Steve Jobs called Android a stolen product says the recently released biography of this tech showman.
Walter Isaacson’s authorized biography of Apple’s co-founder goes on sale Monday. This biography claims Steve Jobs said that the search giant stole from iPhone to build many features in Google’s Android software. He considered it a betrayal as he had been a mentor to Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
Steve Jobs said, “I’m going to destroy Android because it’s a stolen product. I’m willing to go to thermonuclear war on this. They are scared to death because they know they are guilty. I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple’s $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong.”
Both Apple and Google haven’t yet commented on Steve Jobs remarks.
